Peter Prove

Peter is aged 59 and is married with 2 children. Peter worked for many years in the Vintage Car Restoration field. His background included being part of a historic formula one team that won a national championship.

Being self-employed Peter worked as an engine builder for several years and then, as an employee, went to work for Janspeed Engineering in Salisbury on various projects building racing cars and their engines.

Peter has spent the last few years working towards gaining an Aircraft Engineer's Licence, which he has put on hold to join the Steam Car Challenge Team. Currently Peter has been building the gearbox, turbine and the wheel hubs. ON Bonneville he will be part of the turn around team. His hobbies include restoring cars and taking part in motorsport hillclimbs.
